Cyient Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer - Industrial Engineering in Mysore to drive capacity planning, manpower optimization, and Lean initiatives. The role focuses on layout improvements, new line setup, and productivity enhancements within a reputed manufacturing environment.

The candidate will collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement projects across Greenfield and Brownfield

Qualificações

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Production or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environment with hands‑on IE functions.
• Strong hands‑on capabilities in capacity planning and line optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Perform capacity calculation and capacity planning to support production requirements.
• Conduct manpower estimation and workforce planning for manufacturing operations.
• Optimize manufacturing layouts to improve operational efficiency, material flow, and space utilization.
• Lead and support Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing line setup projects.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives across production operations.
• Plan and execute productivity improvement projects.
• Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement activities.
• Implement line balancing and resource optimization techniques.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Analyze manufacturing data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve overall operational performance.

Job Summary
