Job summary

Ninjacart seeks a detail-oriented professional to anchor fruit import operations, documentation, and shipment coordination. You will liaise with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth cross-border flows from suppliers to customers in India.

The role requires hands-on experience with PO/SO processing, import documentation, and cross-border payments, plus strong coordination and communication skills in Hindi and English.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in fruit import operations or the import industry.
• Knowledge of import shipment management and documentation.
• Experience with PO/SO processing and invoice creation.
• Understanding of cross-border payment processes.
• Strong coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to prepare operational reports and track shipments effectively.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English.

Responsibilities

• Import Shipment Management: Coordinate and track fruit import shipments, ensuring timely execution and smooth operational flow.
• Documentation & Compliance: Manage import documentation and ensure the accuracy of shipment-related records and compliance requirements.
• Order & Invoice Processing: Handle purchase orders (PO), sales orders (SO), and invoice creation.
• Cross-Border Payments: Coordinate import-related payment processes with the finance team and relevant stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal supply, demand, and finance teams, as well as freight forwarders and shipping lines.
• Team Coordination: Support and guide the import operations team, assign operational tasks, and ensure timely completion.
• Operational Reporting: Prepare shipment tracking reports and operational dashboards, highlighting delays, documentation gaps, and potential risks.

About the Role
