Responsibilities

• Oversee the purchasing process from harvest to dispatch.
• Expand the farmer base by onboarding them area-wise and crop-wise.
• Engage with farmers to understand and support their issues.

Responsibilities

• Identify & assess potential farmers for fruits & vegetables, and manage farmer relationships.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for fruits & vegetables.
• Oversee the execution of the purchasing process - Harvest to Dispatch.
• Expand farmer base: Onboard the farmers area-wise and crop-wise.
• Onboard partners who can support the souring as per Specifications - Price & Quality.
• Engage with farmers to understand the issues and provide timely support.
• Role involves travel outside of the city, to the farms, and across multiple districts in the identified region; flexibility expected.

• Education: Agri Business Management (ABM) Graduate or Postgraduate (PGDM, MBA Marketing, B.Sc. in Agriculture with a focus on Agronomy, Bachelor of Agriculture, BBA in agriculture Management)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in a regional language is essential.
• Person should be familiar with the city and have their own means of commute.
• Should have at least 1 year of experience ( FNV Sourcing, Procurement, Agriculture Marketing, Organic Farming, Fertilizer, Knowledge about Seeds and agri-inputs)
• Should be ready to travel.
• Mandatory - Bike and smartphone.
