Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Senior Executive - Exports in Mumbai to drive export activities, ensure compliance with Indian regulations, and coordinate treasury-related tasks. The role requires hands-on experience with DG cargoes, CHAs, freight forwarders, and maritime rules, with leadership aptitude for team collaboration and individual contribution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Indian customs regulations and regulatory landscape.
• Experience with Treasury & Trade Services and banking practices.
• Familiarity with SAP and EDPMS/MTT documentation.
• Experience handling hazardous cargo and LCL shipments is advantageous.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to lead as a senior individual contributor and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Indian customs regulations and regulatory landscape.
• Coordinate with SAP systems and treasury functions for exports processes.
• Manage end-to-end customer lifecycle from order to payments reconciliation.
• Oversee CHAs, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to meet expectations.
• Handle EDPMS and related statutory documentation.
• Work with banking practices and treasury in trade operations.
• Support merchant/triangular trade and hazardous cargo handling when needed.
• Communicate effectively; contribute as an individual and as a team lead.
• Drive growth in export volumes through proactive compliance and logistics.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure regulatory and operational excellence.
