Job summary

Talent Hired-the Job Store in Nashik district seeks an industrial engineer to drive productivity through industrial engineering, MOST and the latest manufacturing technologies.

You will ensure daily capacity utilisation, increase plant and machinery uptime, and optimise plant parameters, while planning revenue and capex under the Plant Head. You will also lead HSE compliance audits and drive continuous improvements, cost reductions, and new process/tooling development for upcoming products.

Qualifications

• Analytical skill for planning.
• Proficient in PPT, Excel and Word.
• Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi.
• Problem solving approach.
• Line balancing and machine/technology knowledge.
• Costing and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Increase productivity through industrial engineering, MOST and latest manufacturing technologies.
• Achieve daily capacity utilisation and increase plant uptime; optimise plant parameters.
• Plan revenue/capital expenditure under guidance of Plant Head.
• Provide tooling, fixtures upgrades for new products to ensure optimum utilization.
• Drive HSE compliance and audit adherence across operations.
• Lead continuous improvements projects: cost reduction, CGPS, fatigue reduction, cycle time reduction and work content reduction.
• Develop new processes and tooling for new products.

Role & responsibilities

Ensure productivity increase through industrial engineering, MOST and latest manufacturing technologies. Ensure achievement of daily capacity utilisation, increase plant and machinery uptime and optimisation of different plant parameters. Under Guidance of the Plant Head planning revenue/capital expenditure. Provide engineering support (Up gradation of facilities, provide tooling, fixtures to assembly section for new product) to ensure optimum utilisation of resources. To reduce Unsafe acts and conditions drives the implementation and strict adherence of the different HSE system, internal and external audit compliances. Drives business excellence programs in areas process developments, Cost reduction under Continuous Improvements project, Projects on PLH reduction, Project on Fatigue reduction, Cycle time reduction and Work content reduction projects under CGPS drive, Initiative in new process and tooling development for new product.

Necessary Functional Skills required for this job
