Role focuses on MOST-based work content estimation, Kaizen, and NPI processes, with emphasis on ergonomic line design and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial engineering and productivity improvement.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and NPI processes.

Responsibilities

• Estimate work content using MOST and video monitoring.
• Perform line balancing for model mix scenarios.
• Develop standardised work for direct and indirect processes.
• Conduct VA-SVA-NVA analyses and improve opportunities.
• Apply 3M (MUDA/MURA/MURI) methods for improvements.
• Prepare ergonomic line-side facilities and stations.
• Design Kara-kuri and FIFO racks for material flow.
• Plan manpower deployment for assembly scenarios.
• Initiate Kaizens and ensure safe, productive layouts.
• Define standardised work sequences and operator zones.
• Map MHE for part feeding and optimize handling.
• Oversee budget estimation, RFQ, and project tracking.
• Lead shop floor reviews with safety and quality.

Role & responsibilities

PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENT

• Work Content Estimation using MOST & Other Video Monitoring methods
• Perform Line Balancing activities w.r.t. model mix scenario
• Develop Standardised Work for Direct & Indirect Process
• VA-SVA-NVA Analysis
• 3M (MUDA, MURA & MURI) Analysis to Identify & execute on Improvement Opportunities
• Develop Line side facilities & work stations as per ergonomic standards
• Conceptualise, develop & implement Kara-kuri & FIFO Racks
• Prepare Manpower deployment pattern w.r.t. Assembly working scenario

LEAN MANUFACTURING

• Initiate Kaizens for improvement activities
• Ensure Layout Design alligned with Safety & Productivity deliverables
• Defines standardised work & Process sequence
• Part presentation as per Operator's Golden Zone & Strike zone
• MHE's mapping for part feeding & develop LCA for optimised material handling

NPI

• Work Content reduction opportunities thru DFMEA & EPM approach
• Prepare Complexity matrix to reduce eliminate complexity
• Design & Install facilities with First Time Right approach
• PFMEA, PCP & PFC for NPI / EPI Activities
• Updation of Work Content & Time study arising due to NPI/EPI/ECN
• Develop SOP / WIN as per Workstations

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Budget estimation for New / Modification Projects
• Management Approvals with B/C Evalaution
• Prepare RFQ, gather Quotations, evaluate options, raise PR in SAP
• Monitor activities from Equipment ordering to Installation
• Perform activities from Equipment ordering to Installation
• Track Project Budget expenditure periodically

SHOP FLOOR MANAGEMENT

• Attend daily shop floor reviews with Safety, Quality & Prodn
• Ineract with Shop floor team to identify improvement opportunities
• Ensure cohesivness while working with CFT
