Job summary

KSB, Inc. invites a mechanical engineer with 3–6 years of experience to manage techno-commercial pumps orders in SAP SD/PP.

You will coordinate order acceptance, allocations, and dispatch with planning, production, and procurement teams, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate MIS reporting. Qualifications

• B.E. Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engg.
• Engineering industry experience preferred; 3–6 years depending on degree.
• Proficiency in SAP – SD/PP Module and MS Office (Excel).
• Knowledge of pumps selection per customer specifications and understanding customer service aspects.
• Review of monthly sales targets and assessment of achievable targets.
• Knowledge of despatch procedures and documentation procedures.
• Knowledge of Third-Party Inspection activities.
• Excellent communication, target orientation, planning and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Booking techno-commercial orders of pumps into SAP System.
• Circulation of order acceptance via SAP to customers after PO receipt and booking in system.
• Follow up for material shortages with Planning, Production & Purchase.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports with order intake summary and on-time delivery of pumps.
• Daily allocation of pumps per customer requirements after packing feedback and dispatch instructions.
• Monitor country urgencies and provide timely feedback.
• Achieve monthly direct sales targets.
• Arrange bi-weekly meetings with export countries to discuss targets and issues.
• Provide technical/commercial support to countries and the technical support team.
• Coordinate with QM, Test Field, Client for TPI activities and ensure IRN and dispatch.

Major Responsibilities

• Responsible for booking of techno-commercial orders of pumps into SAP System.
• Circulation of order acceptance via SAP to respective customers after checking the PO receipt and actual booking in system.
• Follow up for material shortages with Planning, Production & Purchase department.
• Responsible for preparing monthly MIS reports which shall consist of order intake summary and on time delivery of pumps.
• Making daily allocation of pumps as per customer requirements after packing feedback and circulating the dispatch instructions to excise and dispatch department.
• Daily monitoring and communications of countries urgencies & ensure timely feedback to them.
• Ensure monthly direct sales targets achievement against the potential.
• Arranging the bi-weekly meetings with all export countries to discuss on OOH statement, sales targets, quality complaints, techno-commercial issues etc. to have better and close co-ordination
• Contribute to provide technical/commercial support to countries and Technical support team.
• Coordination with QM, Test Field, Client for TPI activities from plant & ensure IRN and dispatch of same.

Requirement profile

Formal education: B.E Mechanical; Diploma in Mechanical Engg. Professional experience: Engineering Industry is preferred. In years: 3 to 4 years for B.E & 5 to 6 years for DEE/DME Defined competencies: Functional Skills Knowledge of KSB products. Proficiency in SAP – SD/PP Module and MS Office (Specially Excel). Proficiency in Pumps selection as per customers specifications and understanding customer service aspects. Review of monthly sales target and assessment of achievable targets. Knowledge of commercial aspects for despatch procedures and documentation procedures. Knowledge of Third-party Inspection activities Behavioural Skills Excellent Communication Skill.
