Pace Digitek Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a procurement specialist to manage day-to-day purchasing of raw materials and components for our manufacturing lines, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.

The role requires coordinating with production, engineering and quality teams, handling RFQs and POs, and executing SAP-based procurement transactions to sustain uninterrupted operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or SCM.
• 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing procurement.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing purchase operations.
• Experience in BESS, Li-ion Battery, EV, Automotive or Electrical manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of PR-to-PO, RFQ, BOM, MRP and inventory management.

• Procure electrical, electronic, mechanical, fabricated and BOM-driven materials for BESS manufacturing.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for day-to-day purchase operations, ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, components and consumables to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle end-to-end purchase activities, including PR processing, RFQ, quotation comparison and PO release.
2. Procure electrical, electronic, mechanical, fabricated and BOM-driven materials for BESS manufacturing.
3. Coordinate with Production, PPC, Engineering, Quality and Stores teams for material requirements.
4. Follow up with vendors for order confirmations, delivery schedules and pending supplies.
5. Monitor open POs, material shortages and inventory requirements to avoid production delays.
6. Support vendor development, price negotiations and cost optimization.
7. Maintain purchase records, vendor databases and procurement MIS.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Supply Chain Management.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing procurement.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing purchase operations.
• Experience in BESS, Li-ion Battery, EV, Automotive or Electrical manufacturing will be preferred.
• Knowledge of PR-to-PO, RFQ, BOM, MRP and inventory management.
• Vendor coordination, negotiation and order expediting.
• Working knowledge of SAP MM / ERP and MS Excel.
• Good communication, analytical and coordination skills.
