We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Executive/ Executive– Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support the finance team in accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, hands‑on experience in logistics industry accounts, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable process.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients for financial clarifications.
- Prepare MIS reports and assist management with financial analysis.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary data and documents.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation related to logistics operations.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the logistics / supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Hands‑on experience with accounting software (Zoho, Tally ERP, or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or e‑commerce accounting.
- Knowledge of freight cost allocation and logistics billing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for vendor & client interaction.
