Job summary

Meragi is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own end-to-end production for large-scale wedding events, coordinating on-ground teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure flawless execution from setup to teardown.

You will manage timelines, logistics, and resources, mentor junior managers, and travel for venue visits and events, while maintaining strong client communication and strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management, event production, wedding production, or a similar on-ground execution role.
• Strong experience in handling large-scale events/weddings with complex production requirements.
• Hands-on knowledge of materials, measurements, fabrication, vendors, manpower, logistics, and event setup.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and timelines simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel for venue visits and events.
• Comfortable working flexible hours and extended hours during event days.
• Strong attention to detail and a high sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of large-scale wedding events, from planning and setup to execution, dismantling, and material returns.
• Lead and oversee on-ground production teams, vendors, suppliers, labour, and internal stakeholders.
• Plan and manage event timelines, manpower, logistics, materials, equipment, and venue requirements.
• Conduct and oversee venue visits, measurements, site assessments, and production planning.
• Ensure all production work is executed as per approved designs, quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
• Manage multiple vendors and teams simultaneously and ensure smooth coordination across functions.
• Handle complex production requirements and make quick, effective decisions during events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve last-minute on-ground challenges related to manpower, materials, vendors, logistics, or execution.
• Ensure proper setup, execution, dismantling, and timely movement/return of materials after events.
• Monitor costs, resources, and operational efficiency throughout the project.
• Take ownership of event-day execution and ensure that large and complex events are delivered seamlessly.
• Mentor and guide junior Project Managers and production team members.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
