Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for heat exchangers, including material takeoff from drawings and vendor negotiation.
• Manage estimation activities such as rate analysis, tender preparation, proposal management, and bid evaluation.
• Conduct quantity surveying and contractor billing for mechanical projects.
• Develop expertise in estimating various types of heat exchangers (air cooled, water cooled, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate costing and timely project delivery.
• Estimation of Static Equipments (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc.) as per the requirement of codes and Clients specification.
• Cost analysis as per the Company Guidelines.
• Familiar with standards and materials.
• Careful study of process licensors data sheet, material specifications & drawings.
• To build relationships with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors and manage a regular correspondence for quantities, cost and specification.
• Floating of enquiries to vendor for material quotes.
• Prepare cost summary and technical offer.
• Preparing & submitting of proposals, follow-up & correspondence with parties to convert submitted offers into orders.
• Preliminary Mechanical design of Static Equipment.

Negotiation with vendor along with procurement team to get best material costs in pre-order stage.
