Job summary

Persistent Systems seeks an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to lead design, governance, and modernization of enterprise-wide technology solutions, focusing on .NET ecosystems, on-premises infrastructure, and desktop engineering. This role defines architecture standards and roadmaps to align technology with business goals.

You will govern TOGAF and Zachman frameworks, drive modernization, mentor teams, and partner with executives, engineering, and operations.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or Technology Strategy.
• Expertise in TOGAF, Zachman, and Architecture Governance models.
• Strong knowledge of Desktop Engineering and On-Prem Infrastructure.
• Deep experience with microservices, SOA, EDA, and Domain-Driven Design.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, principles, and technology roadmaps.
• Design scalable enterprise solutions using Microservices, SOA, EDA, and DDD principles.
• Drive modernization of legacy applications and enterprise platforms.
• Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster recovery-enabled solutions.
• Establish enterprise integration strategies across applications, databases, middleware, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Lead architecture decisions for .NET applications, desktop environments, virtualization platforms, networking, and on-prem infrastructure.
• Define infrastructure architecture covering compute, storage, security, networking, and enterprise platforms.
• Establish governance processes, compliance controls, risk management practices, and security standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to align technology investments with business goals.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technology assessments, and governance forums.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend modernization opportunities.
• Mentor architects, developers, and engineering teams on best practices.
• Support enterprise-wide transformation programs and technology adoption initiatives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 10 to 15 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or Technology Strategy.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, and Architecture Governance models.
• Strong understanding of Desktop Engineering and Enterprise Endpoint Management environments.
• Extensive experience working with On-Prem Infrastructure, VMware virtualization, servers, storage, and enterprise platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Microservices Architecture, SOA, Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design.
• Proven experience in application modernization, legacy transformation, and enterprise platform consolidation programs.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, high availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Experience defining enterprise integration patterns, API strategies, middleware solutions, and data architecture standards.
• Expertise in infrastructure architecture, networking, security architecture, compute, and storage platforms.
• Strong knowledge of architecture governance, compliance frameworks, and risk management practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.
