Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to define and drive our enterprise architecture vision, ensuring business strategy aligns with technology investments. The role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, modern architecture practices, and large-scale transformation initiatives across multiple domains.

You will lead architecture reviews, establish standards, and guide solution architecture teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or technology leadership.
• TOGAF certification is mandatory.
• Strong cloud architecture across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep experience with microservices and API-led integration patterns.
• Proven ability to lead architecture reviews and governance boards.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect .The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing enterprise architecture vision, driving technology transformation, and ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology investments. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in modern architecture practices, cloud platforms, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

What You\'ll Do:

• Define enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and technology roadmaps.
• Align business capabilities, processes, and technology investments with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
• Establish target-state architectures across Business, Application, Data, Security, and Technology domains.
• Conduct architecture assessments and define modernization and transformation strategies.
• Lead architecture review boards, governance processes, and technical decision-making forums.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and future-ready enterprise solutions.
• Drive adoption of Cloud-Native, Microservices, API-Led, and Event-Driven architectures.
• Define architecture frameworks, standards, reference architectures, and engineering guidelines.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Automation, and Digital Transformation platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Conduct architecture risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, engineering organizations, and executive stakeholders.
• Guide enterprise-wide technology transformation and digital modernization initiatives.
• Support solution architecture teams in delivering scalable and interoperable solutions.
• Drive enterprise technology innovation and continuous improvement.

Expertise You\'ll Bring:

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technology Leadership roles.
• TOGAF Certification (Mandatory).
• Proven experience defining and implementing Enterprise Architecture strategies.
• Strong expertise in Business, Application, Data, and Technology Architecture domains.
• Deep understanding of Cloud Architecture across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture and API-Led Integration patterns.
• Experience implementing Event-Driven Architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration, Security Architecture, and Governance frameworks.
• Experience conducting Architecture Assessments and defining modernization roadmaps.
• Proven leadership in Architecture Reviews, Governance Boards, and Technical Advisory functions.
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks, standards, and operating models.
• Familiarity with Digital Transformation, Automation, and AI-enabled business initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and enterprise automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of Security, Compliance, Risk Management, and Regulatory requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence technology strategy and business outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Experience mentoring architects, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams.
