Job summary

Persistent Systems seeks a highly experienced Security Architect to lead design, governance, and implementation of enterprise cybersecurity architectures. You will align security with risk, compliance, and business goals while mentoring teams and advising clients and leadership.

The role requires deep expertise in cloud, on-prem, hybrid, and Zero Trust programs, with a track record of delivering security roadmaps and reference architectures. Strong communication with executives is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in security architecture.
• Experience leading enterprise security programs and engagements.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise security strategy, architecture, standards, and roadmaps.
• Design secure architectures across cloud, on-prem, hybrid, and SaaS.
• Lead architecture assessments, risk reviews, and security governance.
• Develop HLDs/LLDs and security blueprints for programs.
• Present solutions to senior leadership and clients; mentor teams.
• Drive pre-sales support, responses to RFPs, and service offerings.

We are seeking a highly experienced Security Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise-wide cybersecurity architectures. This role is pivotal in aligning business objectives with security, compliance, and risk management requirements. The ideal candidate will drive strategic security initiatives, support business growth, mentor technical teams, and act as a trusted advisor to clients, leadership, and stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

• Security Strategy & Architecture
• Define enterprise security architecture frameworks, standards, and roadmaps.
• Design secure architectures across cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and SaaS environments.
• Develop reference architectures for Zero Trust, IAM, PAM, Data Security, SOC, and Cloud Security programs.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise risk, compliance, and business objectives. Solution
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business and security requirements.
• Lead architecture assessments, security maturity reviews, and transformation programs.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), architecture diagrams, and security blueprints.
• Present security solutions and recommendations to senior leadership and customer executives. Governance & Risk Management
• Drive adherence to security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, PCI-DSS, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments.
• Define security controls and governance processes. Practice & Business Growth
• Support pre-sales, RFP responses, solution development, and deal pursuits.
• Build reusable assets, accelerators, and service offerings.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and practice teams to drive revenue growth. Leadership & Mentoring
• Provide technical direction to architects, consultants, and engineering teams.
• Mentor security leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
