Job summary

IPI Technolab is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and drive the technology strategy across cloud, data, and integration domains. You will develop current-state and target-state architectures, roadmaps, and standards, while leading governance and modernization efforts across a large enterprise.

The role requires hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, APIs, and DevOps, with strong leadership and communication skills to align business and IT.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Define and drive the enterprise technology architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term organizational goals.
• Develop current-state and target-state architecture, technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and architecture standards.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective enterprise solutions across applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, and integration.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, products, and vendors based on business requirements, technical fit, scalability, security, and total cost of ownership.
• Define and govern cloud, application, integration, data, and security architecture standards.
• Drive adoption of cloud, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, DevOps, automation, and modern digital technologies where appropriate.
• Work closely with CIO/CTO leadership, business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, security teams, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into technology strategies.
• Identify opportunities for technology modernization, application rationalization, technical-debt reduction, and cost optimization.
• Establish architecture governance processes, review solution designs, and ensure compliance with enterprise technology standards.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 7 to 12 years of experience in IT, software engineering, solution architecture, technical architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technology Architecture.
• Good understanding of TOGAF, ArchiMate, or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Strong hands-on understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integrations.
• Working knowledge of data architecture, databases, data platforms, analytics, and data governance.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity, IAM, network architecture, application security, and regulatory/compliance considerations.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and automation.
• Ability to create and communicate technology strategies, architecture roadmaps, standards, and reference architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical and business trade-offs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical teams and senior business/C-level stakeholders.
• Experience working in large enterprises, global organizations, GCCs, consulting firms, or complex transformation programs is preferred.
• TOGAF and cloud architecture certifications are highly desirable.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI architecture and modern cloud-native technologies will be an added advantage.
