Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. seeks a Functional Safety engineer to develop and maintain safety artefacts in line with ISO 26262. You will create Item Definitions, HARA, FSC, TSC, and Safety Case, and support DIA and Safety Plans. The role involves FTA/FMEA/DFMEA/DFA analyses and validating safety on Vehicle/HiL platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers, lead or assist safety audits, and promote a culture of safety across projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience creating Item Definition, HARA, FSC, TSC, and Safety Case work products.
• Experience creating and executing Development Interface Agreements (DIA) and Safety Plans.
• Experience performing FTA, FMEA, DFMEA, and DFA analyses.
• Hands-on validation experience on Vehicle, HiL, and related validation environments.
• Experience interfacing and coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet product milestones.
• Proficiency in Medini Analyze, Jira, Visio, Confluence, and related engineering tools.
• Experience leading or supporting periodic safety audits and assessments.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members on functional safety practices and safety culture.
• Strong knowledge of all parts of ISO 26262 and their practical application.
• Automotive embedded systems experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of automotive development lifecycle and ASPICE is an advantage.
