Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in Chennai is seeking an experienced Automotive Test Engineer with SIL/MIL/HIL exposure. You will model and simulate electrical components in Simulink, create plant and controller models for system testing, and write test cases for HIL systems.

You will convert system requirements to test cases, execute tests at system and sub-system levels, and assist in HIL/SIL/MIL lab preparation and upgrades, ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years in Automotive with SIL/MIL/HIL experience preferred.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics; MS/MTech is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Model and simulate electrical components in Simulink.
• Develop plant and controller models for system and sub-system testing.
• Write test cases for HIL systems.
• Translate system requirements into test cases and execute them.
• Perform system and sub-system level test case execution as per automotive standards.
• HIL/SIL/MIL preparation, lab maintenance and upgrade.

Job description
