Job summary

Lektus Infrastructure in Pune seeks a Senior Engineer – Structures to lead design initiatives for Industrial plants, executing RCC and steel structural projects. You will work with a skilled team of engineers at the Pune office to deliver robust designs and ensure client satisfaction.

The role requires proficiency in American and international codes, experience with industrial projects, and collaboration across piping, electrical & instrumentation disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in design of RCC, steel structures and precast/pre-engineered buildings.
• Knowledge of American design codes and international standards.
• Experience with industrial plant structures and related foundations.
• Ability to coordinate with piping, electrical, instrumentation and mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design concrete structures for industrial buildings and water retaining structures.
• Design of pipe racks, supports, platforms, and connections for steel and other elements.
• Design various foundations and equipment foundations; assess retaining structures and culverts.
• Prepare BOQs and tender documents; review and approve project documents.
• Ensure delivery within deadlines and maintain quality of civil engineering documents.

Job description

Job Description:

The candidate will serve as a Senior Engineer Structures, bringing substantial proficiency in Structural design, managing works and clients within the Industrial domain business for Lektus. He shall be backed by a proficient team of engineers specializing in the Structural Engineering domain, primarily stationed at the Lektus Infrastructure office in Pune. We require an experienced Senior Engineer – Structures with a demonstrable history of spearheading design initiatives within the Industrial business domain.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analysis and Design of Concrete Structures for Industrial Buildings, Water Retaining Structures, Industrial Platforms and Equipment Foundations and PEB buildings with the Industrial Plants.
• Design of Pipe Racks, Pipe Supports, Platforms and Connection Design of streel elements.
• Design of various Foundations, Equipment foundations, Retaining structures, Culverts.
• Design of flat slabs, pre-cast, and prefab structures.
• Dynamic analysis for earthquake load, wind load and machine foundation design for dynamic loads
• Preparation of BOQ’s, Tender Documents etc.
• Performs all functions as reviewer and approver of documents for the projects.
• Takes initiatives for successful delivery of projects within the department under minimum guidance.
• Responsible for maintaining quality and consistency of all civil engineering technical documents.
• To provide and maintain an estimate for design works needed to deliver the design.

Required Skills:

• Excellent domain knowledge of Design of RCC, Steel structure, Pre-Engineered Building works, and General Civil Works.
• Candidate must have the experience working with the American Design Codes. Should also possess understanding and knowledge about International Codes & Practices in accordance to global engineering standards.
• Candidates must have experience with Industrial Plants, Process and Non-Process Structures within the Plant, Water/Wastewater projects and associated structures within the plant.
• Understanding of Project requirements like productivity/ schedule work hour control etc.
• Have good understanding of requirements from other disciplines like Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation / Mechanical etc.
• Collaborative Skills with Clients, Stakeholders, Project Management and Design Teams.
• Good Spoken English and written English is essential. Good knowledge of MS office tools.
• Experience on projects from Middle Eastern, Europe and USA projects is a must.
