Job summary

Isko Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer to perform detailed structural analysis and design for heavy industrial projects. You will work on equipment foundations, pipe racks, and both steel and RCC structures in line with IS and international codes.

The role requires 3–8 years of Industrial EPC experience, strong STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD skills, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines. Occasional site visits (~20%) are expected for field surveys and construction support.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Civil Engineering required.
• 3–8 years of relevant structural design experience in Industrial EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel and concrete structural behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis and design for heavy industrial structures (equipment foundations and pipe racks).
• Design steelwork and RCC structures per IS and international codes.
• Prepare design criteria, calculation reports and MTOs.
• Review and approve drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Coordinate with piping, mechanical and electrical teams to ensure clash-free layouts.
• Travel to sites ~20% to conduct field surveys and provide construction support.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis and design for heavy industrial structures, including equipment foundations and pipe racks.
• Design structural steelwork and reinforced concrete (RCC) structures in strict compliance with relevant IS and international codes.
• Prepare structural design criteria, calculation reports, and material take-offs (MTO).
• Review and approve detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and bar bending schedules.
• Coordinate seamlessly with piping, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure clash-free layouts.
• Travel to project sites (~20% of the time) to conduct field surveys, resolve technical queries, and provide construction support.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 3-8 years of relevant structural design experience in Industrial EPC projects.
• Core Expertise: Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of both steel and concrete structural behavior.
• Software: Highly proficient in STAAD.Pro (analysis/design) and AutoCAD (drafting).
