Job summary

Hyosung T&D India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Engineer for STATCOM quality at the Siwani site in Haryana. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the Civil QMS for the STATCOM substation project, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and client requirements.

You will prepare ITPs, method statements, QA procedures, and coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• BE/B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engg. with 5+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) for all civil works in the STATCOM substation project.
• Ensure civil construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, client requirements, applicable standards, and contract documents.
• Prepare, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Assurance Procedures.
• Conduct inspections of civil works, including excavation, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, masonry, structural steel, roads, drainage, cable trenches, and finishing works.
• Coordinate with the client, consultant, and third-party inspection agencies for inspections and approvals.
• Verify the quality of incoming construction materials and ensure compliance with approved MARs.
• Monitor field and laboratory testing of construction materials such as concrete, cement, aggregates, steel reinforcement, soil, and backfilling materials.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs), monitor CAPA, and verify effective closure.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and project quality documentation.
• Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with project quality objectives.
• Coordinate with construction, planning, engineering, and HSE teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into project execution.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of quality dossiers, as-built quality records, and project handover documentation.
