Job summary

Advenser is seeking an experienced Rebar Detailing Engineer to join our Kochi team. The ideal candidate has 5–9 years of hands-on experience in rebar detailing and RC structures, with strong skills in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, CADS RC and Tekla Structures, plus expertise in BBS preparation and BIM workflows.

You will lead detailing efforts, review shop drawings, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and detailing teams, ensuring compliance with ACI, BS, IS codes and client specs while

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in rebar detailing and reinforced concrete structures.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, CADS RC, and Tekla Structures.
• Expertise in BBS preparation and detailing standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review rebar shop drawings and BBS.
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings per project specs and codes.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and detailing teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings and schedules; mentor junior engineers/detailers.
• Manage client communications, handle RFIs, and oversee revisions.
• Ensure compliance with international standards such as ACI, BS 8666, AS, and IS codes.
