Role Description

The Rebar Detailer will be responsible for preparing accurate and clear rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules based on structural and architectural plans. Day-to-day work includes interpreting engineering and construction drawings, detailing reinforcement for various structural elements, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other detailers to resolve design and site-related queries. The role requires careful review of specifications, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and constructability, as well as updating drawings and documentation as projects progress. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, and the selected candidate will collaborate closely with the local team to support projects in the USA and Canada.

Qualifications

• Ability to produce detailed and accurate shop drawings and rebar detailing for structural elements.
• Proficiency in detailing, including understanding of steel structures and connection details.
• Strong skills in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and structural plans.
• Solid understanding of rebar properties, placement, lap lengths, and bar bending schedules.
• Experience working with relevant national and international building codes and standards (US/Canadian standards preferred).
• Proficiency in Rebar CAD & AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in rebar/steel detailing.
• 1-2 Years of Rebar Detailing Experience.
