You will develop, maintain, and track schedules, prepare baselines and calendars, analyze progress, and provide management with schedule insights and recovery plans

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to support and manage project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for large-scale city-side development projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Primavera P6, project controls, resource planning, and construction scheduling, with experience across commercial, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, and project calendars.
• Track project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, risks, and critical path activities.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and management progress reports with schedule analysis.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
• Conduct schedule impact assessments and recommend mitigation and recovery plans.
• Monitor resource allocation, productivity, and project performance metrics.
• Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities.
• Analyze project risks and opportunities affecting schedule performance.
• Participate in progress review meetings and present schedule updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project controls procedures, reporting standards, and contractual requirements.
• Assist in claims management, extension of time (EOT) analysis, and delay assessments when required.
