Job summary

AECOM India Global Services Private Limited, part of AECOM, is seeking a Senior Engineer- PHE (MEP) to join our Building Engineering team in India. You will contribute to impactful Building Engineering projects across global offices and develop technical expertise in a collaborative environment.

The role requires 6–10 years of relevant experience, familiarity with ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA standards, energy modeling tools, and PE license preferred. Hybrid work from Gurugram office three days a week.

Qualifications

  • Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in GDC type of environment.
  • Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.
  • Well versed with ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA standards and regulations.
  • Experience in commercial, residential, datacenter, and infrastructure projects from different geographies - Middle East, USA, Canada, ANZ Region.
  • Familiar with International Fire Codes like NFPA and ME Codes
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or IES-VE).

  • Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
  • Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
  • Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
  • Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
  • Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.

Job Description

We are seeking an Senior Engineer- PHE (MEP)to join our Building Engineering team in India.
