Job summary

AECOM in Gurgaon (IN) is seeking a senior plumbing and fire protection design engineer for a hybrid role. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong knowledge of water supply, drainage, fire suppression and alarm systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and related design software.

Travel to sites is possible. The role requires leadership, excellent project management, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to local and international

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in plumbing and fire-fighting design engineering with project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, fire protection systems and building codes.

Job Description

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in plumbing and fire-fighting design engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems, including water supply, drainage, fire suppression, and alarm systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
• In-depth understanding of local and international building codes and standards
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or client meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

10-15years of experience with projects similar in function, size and scope to the description above.
