Job summary

Linde India is seeking an Engineer O&M at Dahej to ensure safe, timely execution of the DCTL pipeline project and to manage day-to-day plant maintenance. The role focuses on instrumentation installation, reliability, and compliance with safety standards.

You will coordinate contractors, monitor progress, and lead shutdowns, aiming to maximize uptime while controlling costs and upholding EHS practices across the site.

Qualifications

• University degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
• At least three years of experience in an industrial environment including safety management.
• Experience in process engineering and engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities for safe and timely execution of the DCTL Pipeline Project.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for plant equipment.
• Lead plant shutdown activities with job plans, resources, and budget adherence.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards and company procedures via risk assessments and permits.
• Maintain maintenance records, track KPIs, and support continuous improvement.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role, you will ensure safe and timely execution of the DCTL Pipeline Project by coordinating site activities, monitoring project progress, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment to ensure high reliability, availability, and operational efficiency
• Lead and coordinate plant shutdown activities by preparing job plans, arranging resources, monitoring execution, and ensuring completion within the approved schedule and budget
• You will monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime, improve plant reliability, and achieve production targets
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards and company procedures through risk assessments, permit-to-work implementation, safety audits, and adherence to operational best practices
• Also, you will maintain accurate maintenance records and reports, track KPIs, manage spare parts requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and cost efficiency

• And you have already gained at least three (3) years of experience in a related industrial environment including safety management, process engineering, and engineering projects
