Job summary

Ashirvad Pipes is seeking a maintenance engineer to manage electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems across moulding, extrusion, and facilities, ensuring uptime and safe operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, track MTTR/MTBF, install and commission new equipment, and maintain IMS, EMS, QMS and OHSMS documentation while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with Induction Molding and Extrusion is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to minimize downtime.
• Prepare MTTR and MTBF metrics for machines.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and take corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare and update ISO documents related to IMS, EMS, QMS, and OHSMS.
• Install, commission, and test new equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with departments and external suppliers for timely and cost-effective maintenance.

Role Summary

Handling of Injection moulding, extrusion, Tool room machines, Lab Machines, Robots, compressor, DG, Transformer, Cooling tower, Conveyor & other Utilities.

Roles and Responsibility

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Strong Knowledge on Induction Molding and Extrusion system. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Role Specific Competencies

• 1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities to ensure their optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• 2. Preparation of MTTR, and MTBF for all necessary machines.
• 3. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and take appropriate corrective action.
• 4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
• 5. Preparation and updating of ISO documents related to IMS, EMS, QMS, and OHSMS.
• 6. Install, commission, and test new equipment and systems.
• 7. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure equipment and facilities are maintained in accordance with relevant standards.
• 8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• 9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including spare parts inventory and equipment performance.
• 10. Collaborate with other departments and external suppliers to ensure equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely and cost-effective manner.
