Job summary

Ashirvad Pipes is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations/Industrial Engineering leader to drive automation and digital transformation across production lines in Bengaluru. The role focuses on productivity, quality, and process reliability through Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement practices.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of hands-on experience, a BE/B.Tech degree, and strong skills in MTM, MOST, and time & motion studies to optimize layouts and output.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and digitalization projects to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and process reliability.
• Drive IE initiatives including Time & Motion Studies, MTM, MOST, layout optimization, and process improvements.
• Identify line balancing opportunities, productivity gains, headcount optimization, and low-cost automation.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and TPM with waste reduction, SMED, and continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibility

• Automation & Manufacturing Excellence
  • Lead automation and digitalization projects to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and process reliability.
  • Drive Industrial Engineering initiatives including Time & Motion Studies, MTM, MOST, layout optimization, and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for line balancing, productivity enhancement, headcount optimization, and low-cost automation.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and TPM practices, including Waste Reduction, SMED, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Production Operations
  • Coordinate daily production activities to achieve operational and production targets.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing processes and support workplace organization and waste management initiatives.
• Team Leadership
  • Lead production teams and collaborate with cross-functional functions including Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse.
  • Train and develop team members on SOPs, safety standards, and operational best practices.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions while fostering a strong culture of safety, health, and environmental compliance.

Requirement

• Minimum 8 - 10 Yrs of experience in Manufacturing Operations and Industrial Engineering.
• B. E / B.Tech as educational qualification
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, SMED, and Continuous Improvement
• Hands-on experience in Automation and Digital Transformation projects
• Knowledge of Time & Motion Studies, MTM, MOST, and Process Optimization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
