Job summary

Search Advisers Services Guj is seeking an experienced power electronics engineer to design and develop high‑power, grid-connected and energy storage inverter systems. You will own detailed design, schematic work, and thermal analysis for next‑gen bidirectional converters and PFC stages.

You will lead hands‑on debugging during bring‑up, drive DFMEA and prototype builds, and collaborate with systems, firmware, mechanical, and compliance teams to ensure successful production launches.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical power electronics.
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Power Electronics from reputed institute.

Responsibilities

• Design inverter, bidirectional DC-DC, auxiliary power, sensing, isolation, gate-drive, and protection circuits.
• Perform schematic design, calculations, simulation, component selection, derating, worst-case, SOA, loss, and thermal analysis.
• Support PCB layout for high-power, high-voltage, isolation, creepage/clearance, signal integrity, and EMC requirements.
• Own hands-on debug of critical hardware issues during board bring-up and system integration; perform structured RCA, implement corrective actions, and verify closure.
• Create design documentation and support design reviews, DFMEA, DFM/DFA/DFT, prototype builds, certification, and production launch.
• Collaborate with systems, firmware, mechanical, validation, compliance, quality, sourcing, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

Preferred candidate profile

7+ years of experience and Bachelors or master’s degree or Phd in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems, or related discipline from a reputed institute (IITs, NITs, IISc, top global universities, or equivalent)...

• Experience in grid-tied inverters, battery energy storage, bidirectional converters, PFC, or similar power-conversion products.
