Search Advisers Services Guj seeks a hands-on hardware engineer to design, validate, and industrialize power-electronics subsystems for residential and light-commercial solar energy storage products in Bengaluru.

The role focuses on inverter and bidirectional DC-DC design, high-power circuitry, and robust thermal and EMC considerations. Collaboration across systems, firmware, and manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in hardware design for power-electronics systems.
• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing, validating, and industrializing power-electronics subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Design inverter, bidirectional DC-DC, auxiliary power, sensing, isolation, gate-drive, and protection circuits.
• Perform schematic design, calculations, simulation, component selection, derating, worst-case, SOA, loss, and thermal analysis.
• Support PCB layout for high-power, high-voltage, isolation, creepage/clearance, signal integrity, and EMC requirements.
• Own hands-on debug of critical hardware issues during board bring-up and system integration; perform RCA and corrective actions.
• Create design documentation and support design reviews, DFMEA, DFM/DFA/DFT, prototype builds, certification, and production launch.

Hands-on hardware engineer responsible for designing, validating, and industrializing power-electronics subsystems for residential and light-commercial solar energy storage products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design inverter, bidirectional DC-DC, auxiliary power, sensing, isolation, gate-drive, and protection circuits.
• Perform schematic design, calculations, simulation, component selection, derating, worst-case, SOA, loss, and thermal analysis.
• Support PCB layout for high-power, high-voltage, isolation, creepage/clearance, signal integrity, and EMC requirements.
• Own hands-on debug of critical hardware issues during board bring-up and system integration; perform structured RCA, implement corrective actions, and verify closure.
• Create design documentation and support design reviews, DFMEA, DFM/DFA/DFT, prototype builds, certification, and production launch.

Collaborate with systems, firmware, mechanical, validation, compliance, quality, sourcing, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
