Job summary

RPG Group is seeking a civil project professional to manage high-rise residential and villa developments. The role involves supervising RCC, finishing, masonry, waterproofing and external works, ensuring execution as per drawings and schedules.

You will coordinate with consultants and contractors, enforce quality and safety standards, and deliver regular progress reports. The ideal candidate holds a BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5–9 years of relevant experience across project

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute assigned construction activities for high-rise residential buildings and villa projects.
• Supervise day-to-day construction activities including RCC, finishing, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, flooring, and external works.
• Ensure execution per drawings, specs, method statements and schedules.
• Monitor progress against milestones and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Implement quality control procedures and ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Coordinate QA/QC for materials, testing, and documentation; close quality observations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports; assist planning teams with resources.
• Review drawings and identify issues; participate in project review meetings.
• Monitor contractor performance; ensure adequate manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure adherence to EHS policies; conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Report and investigate safety incidents and recommend actions.
• Track material consumption, coordinate procurement and stores, and maintain records.
• Maintain site documentation, checklists, inspection and progress reports.

Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
Supervise day-to-day construction activities including RCC, finishing, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, flooring, and external development works.
Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction schedules.
Monitor progress against project milestones and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
Quality Management
Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Conduct inspections and ensure workmanship meets established quality standards.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for material approvals, testing, and documentation.
Ensure closure of quality observations and non-conformities.
Planning & Coordination
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Coordinate with planning teams for resource allocation and work sequencing.
Review drawings and identify design or execution-related issues before commencement.
Participate in project review meetings and provide updates on critical activities.
Contractor Management
Monitor contractor performance regarding productivity, quality, safety, and timelines.
Verify contractor measurements and certify work progress.
Ensure adequate manpower, equipment, and materials are available at site.
Safety Compliance
Ensure adherence to EHS policies and safe construction practices.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Monitor compliance with statutory and company safety regulations.
Report and investigate safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Material & Resource Management
Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for timely material availability.
Track inventory levels and maintain material reconciliation records.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain site records, checklists, inspection reports, and progress reports.
Prepare daily work reports and monitor productivity metrics.
Ensure proper documentation for client and consultant approvals.

Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Diploma in Civil Engineering (for exceptional candidates with relevant experience)

Experience Required
5 to 9 years of experience in execution of high-rise residential towers, premium residential developments, gated communities, or villa projects.
Experience in structural works, finishes, and handover activities.
Exposure to complete project lifecycle from excavation to project completion will be preferred.
