Job summary

Faurecia in Haryana is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure customer standards are met and to drive the plant's quality performance. You will lead 8D problem solving, manage quality data, and coordinate with production to stop any non-conforming processes if needed.

Ideal candidates have automotive manufacturing experience and strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and Faurecia Excellence System. This on-site role requires leadership and a drive for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing (automotive preferred).
• Experience implementing IATF 16949 and customer-focused quality control.

Responsibilities

• Represent the customer voice and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Ensure IATF 16949 implementation with focus on customer standards and Faurecia Excellence System.
• Define plant quality objectives, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions for deviations.
• Ensure completeness and archiving of all relevant data for traceability and product liability.
• Lead complaint management for customers and suppliers using robust 8D problem solving and updating QSS.
• Oversee documentation, budget, resources, and personnel development.
• Share best practices and stop any process or delivery for serious non-conformance when needed.

Job description

Overall responsibilities and duties:

Represents the customer voice and ensures the respect of the standards and procedures within the plant.

The main missions of the role are:

• Ensure implementation as per IATF 16949 and warrant that all standards and procedures are complied with special focus on:
• Customer standards
• Faurecia Excellence System and procedures
• Represents the customer within the plant and acts accordingly.
• Participates to the definition of the plant quality objectives, monitors progress and implements corrective action in case of deviation.
• Assure the completeness and archive of all relevant products/process data for traceability and product liability.
• Being responsible for the complaint management for both customers and suppliers ensures that complaints are managed in due time by using adequate Problem-Solving techniques and that 8D reports are robust and regularly updated in QSS.
• Documentation
• Manages the quality budget, allocation of resources, personnel development.
• Ensures capitalization and transversalization and shares best practices.
• Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of serious non-conformance (customer expectations, safety and regulations issues, or similar).

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Minimum education level: Engineer Bachelor or technician with equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry preferred).

Other details

• Have exposure in Electronics manufacturing and strong knowledge of SMT,Assembly, slective soldering, wave soldering etc..
  o Minimum 3 years related leading teams.
  o High technical expertise and understanding.
  o Great skills in the application of MICROSOFT standard software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook...).
  o Ability to work in a matrix- organization.
