Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc in Hyderabad is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Modeling Engineer with 5+ years of modeling experience in applied mechanics, materials science, or related fields. You will lead complex simulations, develop constitutive models, and drive numerical analyses to support semiconductor device reliability and performance.

You will work with Abaqus/ANSYS, leverage AI tools, and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment to deliver robust modeling

Qualifications

• Experience with numerical methods and scientific computing.
• Strong background in constitutive modeling in solid mechanics.
• Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning concepts and applications.
• Familiarity with thermo-mechanical modeling.
• Advanced skills in level set method (LSM) for CAD, meshing, DOE, analysis, rendering.
• Experience with FEA tools.
• Experience with Abaqus, ANSYS.
• Strong debug and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in writing reports and conference papers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team environment and experience with remote collaboration tools.
• Background in semiconductor industry is desirable.
• Familiar with AI tools – Claude Code, Copilot
• Experience employing Artificial Intelligence is an added advantage
