Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an experienced modeling/Applied Mechanics specialist to drive advanced simulations for memory and storage solutions. You will work on constitutive models, thermo-mechanical analyses, and AI-assisted optimization to accelerate design and reliability assessments.

The role requires 5+ years in modeling with advanced degrees in engineering or physics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and remote partners will be essential to deliver high-impact results for

• Background in semiconductor industry is desirable.
• Familiar with AI tools like Claude Code or Copilot.
• Experience employing AI is an added advantage.

Experience

5+ years of Modeling with a Master’s or 3+ Years with a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related fields.

Education

Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or any related fields of engineering and physics.
