Zodiac HR Consultants is seeking a Site Engineer to coordinate project execution and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards at Mumbai-based sites. The role involves planning, scheduling, inspections, and cross-functional coordination with project stakeholders.

The candidate will monitor progress, manage resources, and prepare reports to support timely milestone achievement. Strong collaboration with contractors and the ERP team is essential for smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project execution plans in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Develop building-wise material procurement schedules.
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
• Assign tasks to Junior Engineers and Site Supervisors and monitor timely completion.
• Track daily work progress against planned schedules and actual execution.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and other site resources.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and the ERP team for smooth site operations.
• Prepare material requisitions and estimate daily material requirements.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, cost control, and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and report deviations from the project plan and suggest corrective actions.
• Verify material, contractor, and vendor bills before submission to the Project Manager.
• Maintain effective coordination with stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
• Recommend improvements in construction materials, workmanship, and technology.
