Job summary

Aarvi Encon is seeking a Site Engineer/Coordinator to oversee finishing works on a Mumbai project, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to hit milestones while enforcing safety and technical norms.

The candidate will review drawings, manage materials, plan logistics, inspect progress, and document changes to support project budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute finishing works including plastering, tiling, painting, false ceiling, joinery, faade treatments, waterproofing, and interior fit-outs.
• Review architectural and finishing drawings and ensure strict adherence to design, specification, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct detailed site inspections to monitor construction progress, enforce quality, and ensure adherence to technical and safety standards.
• Plan and manage material procurement, logistics, and resource allocation to drive productivity and minimize delays.
• Interpret technical drawings and engineering plans including blueprints, topographical and geologic data.
• Supervise daily site activities, guide junior engineers, and ensure subcontractor compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively to prevent cost overruns, delays, and safety issues.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation such as progress reports, site diaries, change requests, and quality control records.
• Analyze cost factors, identify value engineering opportunities, and support strict budget adherence.
