Finesse Staffing is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to oversee execution and monitoring of construction sites in Mumbai. The role reports to the Manager Projects and requires close coordination with junior engineers and site supervisors to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in ERP, possess strong knowledge of industry norms and safety practices, and contribute to daily site progress reporting and planning for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Civil engineer with 5–8 years of experience in a similar construction/engineering setting.
• Well-versed with ERP systems and project management processes.
• Knowledge of industry norms, regulations, and quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Prepare execution plans for buildings/projects in consultation with the Project Manager.
• Monitor site activities and ensure work aligns with schedules and budgets.
• Supervise Jr engineers & site supervisors to meet deadlines.
• Ensure safety at site and manage material procurement schedules.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly progress reports to Project Manager.
• Collaborate with contractors to maintain project timelines.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Responsible for execution and Monitoring of overall project/site work status and providing regular updates to reporting authority.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare execution plan of all activity of the buildings/ project in consultation with Project Manager
• Prepare building wise material procurement schedule.
• Daily inspection of work as per the quality check sheet to be maintained real-time at site
• Assigning the task to Jr engineers & site supervisors and ensure that the tasks are completed within time frame and budgeted cost.
• Inspection of construction site to check workmanship and assure adherence to SOPs and quality parameters.
• To give primary inputs to seniors for daily work planning.
• Daily tracking the status of task progress wrt plan Vs actual with Sr. Site Engineer/ Project Manager.
• Optimum use of manpower deployed on site.
• Giving inputs to ERP coordinator Project Manager for material requisition and work out daily required quantities
• Review and monitor activity on site and ensure work is performed accurately and compliantly.
• Effectively change plans, goals, actions, or priorities to deal with changing situations with approval of reporting authority.
• Collaborates with Supervisor and contractors to puts to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Maintain good relations with Sub contractors, contractors and supervisors.
• Be responsible for site safety through safety inspections.
• Ensure all bills received for materials/contractors/vendors are checked and submitted to the Project Manager.
• Ensure adherence to project timeline and avoid operational cost.
• Highlight/ accommodate any deviation in the project plan as received.
• Provide suggestions on materials, workmanship and new technologies to Sr. Site Engineer/ Project Manager.
• Prepare & submit site progress report daily/ weekly/ monthly to Project Manager
