Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Senior Engineer to ensure systems run to specifications on small to medium platforms and projects in Hyderabad. You will measure and calibrate equipment, document results, and confirm regulatory compliance to maintain production quality across software, hardware, embedded, mobile, and cloud components.

Responsibilities

• Create test concept and integrated test strategy for software, hardware, embedded, mobile, HMI, cloud, and system components in an agile environment.
• Define end-to-end test approaches, planning, risk assessment, and release readiness.
• Determine requirements for end-to-end test benches and ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.
• Review requirements, assess testability, and create detailed test specifications.
• Develop E2E test cases to validate functional and non-functional system requirements.
• Define test setups for testing embedded, digital, mobile, and connected systems.
• Execute manual and automated tests and analyze results.
• Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide defect reports.
• Create test reports and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with test processes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including Development, Product Management, Hardware, and System Engineering.
