Job summary

Carrier in Gurugram is seeking an Asst. Manager/ Application Engineering with 5–8 years of HVAC know-how.

The role focuses on equipment selections, technical proposals, and cross-functional support for sales and production on custom builds. You will generate data sheets and compliance documents, maintain design specs and drawings, and act as the technical advisor translating client needs into feasible AHU and airside solutions.

Qualifications

• Understand HVAC and airside products such as Fan wall units, AHU, CRAH, etc.
• Proficiency in psychrometrics, heat load analysis, AutoCAD, and AHU selection tools.
• Basic understanding of data centre airside requirements and applicable standards.
• Knowledge of Eurovent and AHRI certification.
• Ability to perform thermal load calculations, airflow analysis, and capacity assessments.
• Maintain design specifications, as-built drawings, and maintenance manuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Equipment Selection: Carry out equipment selections in time bound manner based on customer provided information.
• Technical Proposals: Review customer blueprints, tenders, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to prepare accurate technical proposals.
• Cross-Functional Support: Help sales teams answer client questions and coordinate with production or factory teams on custom builds.
• Compliance & Documentation: Generate data sheets, compliance statements, and material submittals matching industry codes.

Requirements

• Understand HVAC and good knowledge on Airside products like Fan wall units / Air Handling Units / CRAH etc.

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for clients, translating business requirements into feasible designs.
