Job summary

Sharda Motor Industries in India is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of plant machinery. You will implement PM/TBM/CBM, maintain machine history records, and work to minimize downtime while supporting TPM on the shop floor.

The role reports to Manager-Maintenance and requires 5–7 years in the automobile sector with DME/BE qualifications. On-site role with standard manufacturing hours and a focus on safety and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Basic machine maintenance knowledge.
• PM procedures, Breakdown procedures, TBM, CBM, MTTR, MTBF.
• IATF/TPM/EMS-OHSAS.

Responsibilities

• To ensure Preventive maintenance is accomplished and documented in a
• To maintain machine history cards for all machines & equipments
• To provide uninterrupted Utility services
• To ensure that all safety equipments are installed and available in operating order
• Maintain & monitor inventories of spares
• To monitor energy cost and prepare action plan for cost saving
• To plan for corrective/preventive actions for repeated failures
• To educate the operators for not changing or interfering with the safety devices
• To plan for spare parts required for critical machines
• To maintain the documents related to IATF 16949 & QMS
• To learn and support implement TPM in shop floor
• To co-operate & co-ordinate with internal customers of Maint Dept.
• Any other task entrusted by the HOD
• Maintain MTBF & MTTR
• Reduce spare cost
