Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, a leader in Automotive and Farm Equipment, seeks a seasoned Dimensional Engineer with 12-15 years of experience. The role focuses on detailed design reviews, GD&T, datum strategies and tolerance analyses to support automotive systems.

Candidates with strong training capabilities will drive best practices across suppliers. BE/B.Tech is required; familiarity with the automotive sector is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in mechanical or related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in dimensional engineering or design.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and dimensional engineering.
• Experience in automotive sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Detail Design Review and building correct system interface.
• Define Correct Datum and Locating Strategy.
• GD&T Drawing Release with functional dimensional scheme.
• Tolerance Stack calculation for all critical functional and craftsmanship requirements.
• Review of Measurement System in line with GD&T.
• Review of Fixturing scheme in line with GD&T.
• Building Dimensional Engineering competencies across Auto-Sector and across suppliers by imparting training and conducting regular workshops.
• Developing Dimensional Engineering Standards, manuals and best practices and documenting the same.
