Job summary

Jobgether in India seeks a Senior Endpoint Engineer to modernize enterprise mobility by migrating from Ivanti/MobileIron to Microsoft Intune. You will drive iOS/iPadOS device management, build automation, and integrate with Graph API and Azure services.

You will work across Security, Identity, Network, and Applications to deliver scalable endpoint solutions, with a focus on reliability, security, and operational maturity in a global enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Six-plus years in Endpoint Management, Mobility Engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading large-scale MDM/UEM migrations to Intune.
• Hands-on Intune for iOS/iPadOS with enrollment, policies, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead iOS/iPadOS migrations from Ivanti/MobileIron to Microsoft Intune.
• Design and maintain endpoint automation using Graph API, PowerShell, REST APIs.
• Manage Intune MDM, including enrollment, compliance, profiles, apps, and reporting.
• Handle Apple Business Manager, ADE, supervised devices, and app deployments.

Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Endpoint Engineer (Intune Migration & Automation for iOS) based in India.

This is a senior endpoint engineering role focused on modernizing enterprise mobile device management across iOS and iPadOS environments. You will lead complex migrations from legacy mobile management platforms to Microsoft Intune, helping create secure, scalable, and supportable endpoint solutions. The role combines hands-on Intune engineering with automation, API development, Apple enterprise management, and advanced troubleshooting. You will work with Microsoft Graph, PowerShell, REST APIs, Azure automation services, and Microsoft Entra ID to improve platform efficiency and operational maturity. Collaboration with Security, Identity, Network, and Application teams will be essential to delivering compliant and reliable endpoint services. Accountabilities:

• Lead enterprise iOS and iPadOS migrations from Ivanti EPMM/MobileIron to Microsoft Intune, covering policies, compliance controls, applications, enrollment profiles, and device lifecycle processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain endpoint automation using Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and Azure automation capabilities.
• Engineer and support Microsoft Intune mobile management capabilities, including device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, reporting, and remediation.
• Manage Apple enterprise integrations including Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), supervised devices, Apps & Books, and managed application deployments.
• Provide advanced engineering and Level 3 support for mobile endpoint platforms, ensuring reliability, security, performance, and continuous operational improvement.
• Collaborate with Security, Identity, Network, and Application teams to implement secure and scalable endpoint management solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, migration documentation, and support runbooks to ensure consistent platform management.
• Identify opportunities to improve endpoint automation, monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency across the mobile management environment.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Endpoint Management, Mobility Engineering, Modern Workplace Engineering, or a related enterprise infrastructure discipline.
• Proven experience supporting or leading large-scale MDM/UEM migrations, ideally involving Ivanti EPMM/MobileIron and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune for iOS/iPadOS, including enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, reporting, and remediation.
• Demonstrated experience developing automation using Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, JSON, and Microsoft Entra ID integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Apple enterprise management, including Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment, supervised devices, and managed application deployment.
• Experience with Conditional Access, certificate-based authentication, PKI, Git or Azure DevOps, and enterprise endpoint security practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage complex endpoint environments independently.
• Experience working cross-functionally with security, identity, networking, application, and infrastructure teams.
• Knowledge of Azure Automation, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Automate, or comparable enterprise automation platforms is an advantage.
• Experience creating operational dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Azure Monitor, or Log Analytics is a plus.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, request management, and platform integrations is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust and mobile security technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Zscaler, Zimperium, or Lookout is desirable.
• Experience with Python or C# for API integrations, automation, or lightweight application development is a plus.
• Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Developer Associate are advantageous.
