Job summary

Worley in Chennai is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead power-system studies for client projects. You will work with our global engineering team to deliver robust design and analysis using ETAP and PSCAD as needed.

The role requires at least 15 years of experience in power system studies, including validation and coordination studies. You will contribute to project delivery and ongoing technology adoption in a low-carbon energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Engineer shall have min. 15 years of experience in power system study using ETAP software.
• Experience with PSCAD is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Data validation for power system studies.
• Load flow study and short circuit analysis.
• Motor starting, acceleration and transient stability studies.
• Harmonic study, relay coordination and arc flash study.
• Transient switching studies using PSCAD where applicable.

The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Data Validation.
• Load Flow Study.
• Short Circuit Study.
• Motor Starting (Static & Dynamic) Study.
• Motor acceleration & re-acceleration Study.
• Transient Stability Study.
• Harmonic Study.
• Relay Coordination.
• Arc Flash Study.
• Transient Switching Study using PSCAD Software will be an added advantage.

About You
