Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in India, delivering offshore EPC projects. You will engage with clients, lead discussions, conduct concept studies and select equipment to meet project requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of process activities and safety studies, with experience in BEP/detailed engineering and vendor coordination. The position emphasizes integrating operating experience into design to minimize owner-operator comments, with offshore

Qualifications

• BE or ME in chemical engineering.
• Offshore/EPC project experience preferred.
• Flow assurance, surge analysis, relief and flare design experience desirable.
• SAG-D project experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical discussions with the client as the lead engineer.
• Conduct conceptual studies.
• Select equipment based on project requirements.
• Understand BEP/detailed engineering scope.
• Review P&IDs and critical equipment datasheets.
• Participate in design safety studies (HAZID/HAZOP/SIL).
• Review vendor data for critical packages and coordinate discussions with vendors.
• Support value engineering and value creation initiatives.
• Participate in meetings with licensors and the client.
• Apply operating experience to the design to reduce operating comments.

The Role

As a Senior Process Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc

• Participate in technical discussions with the client as the lead engineer.
• Conduct conceptual studies.
• Select various types of equipment based on project requirements.
• Knowledge of all process activities for BEP / Detailed engineering scope.
• Review critical process deliverables such as P&IDs and critical equipment datasheets.
• Participate in design safety studies (HAZID/HAZOP/SIL).
• Review vendor data for critical packages and coordinate technical discussions with vendors.
• Support value engineering and value creation initiatives.
• Participate in meetings with licensors and the client.
• Apply operating experience to the design to avoid additional comments from operating team of Owner.
