Role: Senior Electrical Engineer with Worley will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead independently HV, MV and LV Electrical engineering design scope in Oil and Gas, Refinery, LNG, Petrochemical Industry, Greenfield and Brownfield projects with minimum guidance from DM / PM.
• Generate Key Single Line Diagram and Detailed Single Line Diagrams, Metering & Protection Diagrams, Design Basis, Specifications, Data sheets, Electrical Load List, Sizing Calculation of all Electrical Equipment.
• Perform Electrical calculations including equipment sizing, cable sizing, lighting calculations.
• Hands-on experience of Power System Studies using ETAP / SKM; SPEL experience is preferable.
• Handle layout engineering such as Power cable tray routing, Earthing, lighting layouts, Substation Equipment Layouts, etc.
• Design Electrical equipment layouts for Hazardous areas and prepare Hazardous area layouts.
• Design outdoor switchyards (AIS / GIS) and layouts up to 66kV, 132kV, 220kV; added advantage to have experience.
• Provide Procurement Support by developing Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Query (TQ), Technical Bid-Evaluation (TBE), Vendor document & drawing reviews (VDRN).
• Design special packages such as Electrical Heat tracing, Lightning Protection System layouts, and develop related drawings.
• Contribute to Design of Energy Management System (EMS) & Power Management System (PMS), SCADA, Loadshedding System; experience with IEC, NEC, ANSI/IEEE, ANZ Electrical standards is required.

Additional Responsibilities

• Lead with clients such as ADNOC, NOC, Qatar Energy, Qatargas, Saudi Aramco, SHELL, Chevron, etc.
• Review engineering and design deliverables independently and prepare work-hour estimates.
• Guide and review development of 3D modelling activities (30%, 60% & 90% design).
• Check compliance with Quality Assurance, Safety and Environment goals.
• Quality Assurance – work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Project.
• Safety – ensure personal safety and safe working practices for the Project and follow OH&S procedures.
• Liaise with other engineering disciplines on technical issues and provide solutions.

Qualifications

• A recognized Master/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Electrical Engineering / Power System Engineering from reputed Universities or equivalent.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, LNG, Petrochemical Industry projects.
• Must have Lead Engineer role experience handling minimum team size of 7-10 Engineers & Designers.
