Job summary

Harita Techserv in Bengaluru seeks an experienced engineer to lead and design Electrical Systems, LV control panels, and wiring harnesses for scalable products. You will drive component sizing and regulatory compliance while aligning with MRD/PRD goals.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will optimize performance, cost, and reliability, and work closely with the supply chain to source and qualify components and assemblies for robust, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in MRD/PRD and regulatory requirements for electrical products.
• Proficient in selecting and sizing electrical components and testing for reliability.
• Ability to perform tradeoff analyses for performance and cost.
• Experience in LV motor starters, controllers, and drive systems.
• Proficient in LV control panel design and wiring harness layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design development of Electrical Systems and LV Control Panels.
• Size and select electrical components per UL/IEC and country regs.
• Perform tradeoff analyses for performance, cost, and quality.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to define requirements.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead, and Design & Development of Electrical Systems, Low Voltage Electrical Control Panel and Cable & Wiring Harness.
• Electrical Component sizing, selection, and qualification as per UL, IEC, and country specific regulatory requirements.
• Make tradeoff analysis of circuits and components with respect to best performance, low cost, high quality and design flexibility.
• To foster an environment conducive for innovation & change with good analytical Thinking.
• Work along with multi-disciplinary (Structural, Electronics, Software, Lab and Reliability) teams to develop system or component level functional, reliability & qualification requirements and design.
• Work closely with Supply chain management team to source and evaluate / qualify the purchased components and assemblies.

Required Skills

• Experience in Product Development and Electrical Systems development as per Marketing Requirement Document (MRD), Product Requirement Document (PRD) and Regulatory Requirements (RR).
• Proficiency in Electrical Components with development capabilities include specifications development, sizing & selection, testing (functional & reliability) and analysis, for followings components: a. Electrical Components: Switchgear and Control components, Primary and secondary protection devices, Safety devices, Transformer, Relay, Connectors, Power Supply, Sensors, Transducers and Switches. b. LV Motors (AC Induction, Brush DC, BLDC, Stepper, Servo, Permanent Magnet). c. Application development - LV Motor Starters and Controllers (X-Link, Star/Delta, Soft Starters, Variable Frequency Drives).
• Proficient in Design and development of Low Voltage control panel.
• Proficient in Product Level Electrical system design, Wiring & Harness Design.
