Job summary

Yash Engineering Consultants in Navi Mumbai seeks a Senior Draughtsman to prepare accurate drawings for water supply, wastewater, sewerage, pipelines, WTP, STP and related infrastructure projects.

You will coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process engineers, implement design changes and ensure drawings meet project standards, while maintaining revision records and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, sewerage or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ArcGIS; Civil 3D is a plus.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, layouts, sections, profiles, GA drawings and as-built drawings.
• Create drawings for WTP, STP, water networks, sewerage, pipelines and pumping stations.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process engineers.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions in drawings.
• Ensure accuracy, proper scaling and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain drawing records, revision control and documentation.
• Complete assigned drawings within project timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Reporting Manager.

Job description

Sr. Draughtsman

To prepare accurate engineering drawings and layouts for water supply, wastewater, sewerage, pipeline, WTP, STP, pumping station, and other related infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, layouts, sections, profiles, GA drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare drawings for WTP, STP, water supply networks, sewerage systems, pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, etc.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineers.
• Incorporate design changes, comments, and revisions in drawings.
• Ensure accuracy, proper scaling, dimensioning, and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain drawing records, revision control, and documentation.
• Complete assigned drawings within project timelines.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Educational Qualification

Diploma or Graduate in Civil Engineering.

Experience

4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Water Supply, Wastewater, Sewerage, WTP, STP, or Infrastructure Projects.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.ARC GIS.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.
