Job summary

Palminfra Engineering in Navi Mumbai seeks a Plumbing Draughtsman with ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil or MEP to prepare 2D plumbing layouts and fire-fighting drawings using AutoCAD. The role includes updating drawings as site changes occur and supporting BOQ preparation from take-offs.

The ideal candidate has extensive AutoCAD experience, strong knowledge of water supply and sanitary systems, and the ability to read architectural/MEP drawings while coordinating with engineers and site teams on

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, MEP or related discipline.
• 25 years of experience as Plumbing Draughtsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; plumbing shop and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of water supply, drainage, soil & waste, rainwater and sanitary plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Experience in plumbing layouts, detailed drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe sizing, slopes, levels, shafts and pump rooms.
• Experience on residential, commercial, high-rise or large-scale projects.
• Revit MEP / BIM knowledge is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with good coordination with engineers and site teams.
• Site coordination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, MEP or a relevant technical discipline.
• 25 years of experience as a Plumbing Draughtsman, preferably with an MEP or plumbing contracting company.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with hands-on experience in preparing plumbing shop drawings and construction drawings.
• Good knowledge of water supply, drainage, soil & waste, rainwater and sanitary plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Experience in preparing plumbing layouts, detailed drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of pipe sizing, slopes, levels, plumbing shafts and pump room layouts.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, high-rise or other large-scale projects will be preferred.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP / BIM will be an added advantage.
• Should be detail-oriented, technically sound and capable of coordinating with engineers and site teams.
• Candidates with practical site coordination experience will be preferred.
