Job description

Qualifications: ITI/Degree/Diploma in civil engineering

Experience: 3-4 years hands-on experience in drafting of general arrangement drawings .

• 1. Preparation of basic site layouts, general arrangement drawings, pipeline longitudinal sections, grading, cut and fill calculations, etc.
• 2. To understand design and drafting systems and standards and design development process followed by clients and implement in work.
• 3. Earthworks, erosion and sediment control design / modelling.
• 4. Water and wastewater pipeline design / modelling.
• 5. Regularly interact and engage with other members of the discipline.
• 6. Build and develop professional profile both internally and externally.
• 7. Adherence to professional standards, ethics and Client quality procedures and standards.
• 8. Design of projects under the instructions of a PL or Engineer using Civil engineering software such as, but not limited to, Autodesk Civil3D, Infraworks and AutoCAD.
• 9. Execute project modelling & detailing services.
• 10.Develop design skills and industry knowledge together with a consistent track record in performance.
• 11. Assist in development of tools and constant improvement to procedures and standards.
• 12. Attend project review meetings and ensure the provision of completed and reviewed drawings (self-verification checklists).
• 13. Develop a reputation for reliability and consistency.
• 14. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Software proficiency: AUTOCAD, MS OFFICE. Knowledge of CIVIL 3D preferred, GIS
