Wet Utility Draughtsman

Essential Qualification: ITI/ Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Experience: 0-3 Years

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Draftsman – Wet Utilities to support the preparation of design and construction drawings for water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, and recycled water systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drafting principles, utility layout preparation, and basic civil engineering concepts related to wet infrastructure.

• Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, and longitudinal sections for wet utility networks including:
  • Potable water distribution
  • Sewerage collection
  • Stormwater drainage systems
  • Recycled/treated water networks
• Draft manhole, chamber, and valve pit details as per design standards.
• Develop and update AutoCAD drawings based on design inputs and field survey data.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings, coordination drawings, and layout plans for approvals.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to incorporate design changes and resolve drafting issues.
• Organize drawing files, maintain version control, and ensure drafting quality and standards.
• Use Civil 3D for generating profiles and corridors (training/support can be provided if needed).
• Ensure compliance with drafting guidelines as per CPHEEO, ULB norms, and client-specific standards.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; exposure to Civil 3D, MicroStation, or GIS tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of utility design concepts and civil infrastructure layout.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and survey data.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
